Initial Visit

We know that a visit to the doctor's office can be stressful, and we want you to feel as comfortable as possible from the moment you arrive. Many patients feel most relaxed when they know exactly what is going to happen. Below we detail a typical first visit to the office.

When you walk into 747 Altos Oaks Drive you will see three medical offices. Our office, Suite 1, is directly opposite the entry door. Ariel will greet you and lead you into our relaxing tea room where you can sip tea, enjoy cold beverages and healthy snacks, and peruse our selection of magazines. If you have not already filled out your paperwork, you will do so now. Once your paperwork is completed, Ariel will take your vital statistics-height, weight, blood pressure, and temperature. After this you will meet with Dr. Kim for your consultation. You can expect to discuss your medical history, your current health, and your goals for treatment. Depending on your desire, you can have the physical and pelvic examination with an ultrasound right after your consultation with Dr. Kim or during a separate visit to our clinic. After the physical examination you will meet again with Dr. Kim to create your treatment plan. Because of its detailed nature and the in-depth attention Dr. Kim gives his patients, the initial visit usually lasts about an hour.

We encourage you to bring your partner with you for your first visit. We know that fertility can be a difficult subject to discuss, and we welcome any questions that you have before, during, and after your appointment.
